Where They’re Headed: Alexander Abramenko ’24

Abramenko is pursuing a Ph.D. in neuroscience at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. He is driven by the support and inspiration he found at Haverford.

Last week, the 387 students comprising the Class of 2028 began their transition to college life with Customs, Haverford’s signature orientation program.

Where They’re Headed: Theresa Haupt ’24

A chemistry major, Haupt now sets her sights on a Ph.D. in bioengineering, focusing on research and innovation. She encourages graduates to embrace opportunities and stay engaged.

The computer science major heads to Virginia Tech for a Ph.D. focused on supporting neurodivergent students in K-12 computer science education.

Where They’re Headed: Zhongyin (Maggie) Zhang ’24

Zhang, a psychology major, neuroscience minor, and Velay scholar, is heading to Ontario Veterinary College.
