All Is Bright Thanks To Lloyd Lights

In a favorite campus tradition, the denizens of Lloyd Hall decorate their entryways with festive lights, holly, and (in the case of Lloyd 31-32) a blowup Santa doll to celebrate the end of the semester.

As the semester draws to a close, it is time again for the annual tradition of Lloyd Lights. Every year at this time, the denizens of Lloyd Hall decorate their entryways with festive lights, tinsel, wreaths, and (in the case of Lloyd 31-32 this year) a blowup Santa doll for a friendly competition. Though campus gets dark pretty early these days, thanks to the impending winter solstice, these brightly lit, decked halls are helping to keep Haverford bright. And while the weather has been unseasonably warm recently, these decorations are a cheery reminder of the season (and the coming break) on a 60-degree December day.

Join in the fun by voting for which entryway you think is “best dressed.” (Closeup photos of each individual doorway are up on the voting page.)
