Where They're Headed: Lindsay Reid ’13

In a new installment of a continuing Haverblog series about the post-graduation plans of the Class of 2013, Lindsay Reid talks about her upcoming year teaching at the American School of Bilbao in Spain.

As the first intern hired by the American School of Bilbao, biology major Lindsay Reid ’13 will spend her post-graduate year teaching in Spain.

Her position will encompass a variety of responsibilities, including working as a lab assistant and helping in the classroom. The American School of Bilbao, Reid says, “wants to provide an American education in Spain, but it includes aspects of the Basque culture. It is a very small school, with the goal of giving a personalized education.” As she shares scientific knowledge with students, Reid will have the opportunity to learn about international education while immersed in Spanish culture.
