This coming school year, anthropology major Hannah Davis ’13 will begin working at the American International School of Salzburg in Austria, as a resident assistant. Her responsibilities, reports Davis, will include “living in the dorms, helping run study hall, tutoring, running evening and weekend activities, mentoring, counseling, and helping to coach women’s soccer.”
Davis first learned about this position through Search Associates, a program that matches teachers to schools internationally. “I knew going into the [job hunting] process that I wanted to work in a school and that I wanted the opportunity to travel,” Davis said.
Davis plans to return to the United States following her tenure with the American International School of Salzburg to pursue a master’s degree in special education and autism education.
