Haverween is an annual Ultimate Frisbee tournament hosted by the Haverford men’s and women’s teams. The Halloween-themed competition includes seven games played over two days against many different schools. This year, the event was big enough to take over most of Haverford’s fields, due to the sheer number of teams playing. “Ultimate,” in fact, turned out to be so popular this year that both The Donkeys and The Sneetches (the men’s and women’s squads, respectively) were able to field two teams each. (And they weren’t the only Fords on the fields, either; a team of alums made a strong showing, too.)
The Upperclassmen teams did very well, both winning a large percentage of their games. The freshmen teams earned a victory or two themselves. The weekend was a huge success, and left all the players sweaty, muddy and exhausted, which is just how they like it!
