For nearly 25 years, the denizens of Lloyd Hall have provided a much-needed dose of illumination as the dark days of winter — and the end of the fall semester — arrive. The beloved yuletide tradition of Lloyd Lights returned this week amid the bustle of finals, with strings of twinkling lights, gift wrap, ornaments, and inflatable critters adorning each of Lloyd’s nine entryways (Norris, Logan, Jones, Smith, Strawbridge, Stokes, Morris, Leeds, and Janney).
The lights are as beautiful as they are shortlived, so grab a cup of hot cocoa and take a stroll in the crisp evening air to see them before they come down on Friday, Dec. 15. (Or, if you’re more of an indoor person, scroll through the gallery below.) Once you’ve decided which installation is your favorite, head on over to cast your vote in Haverford’s online poll. Check this space on Monday to see who won!
