The Center for Peace and Global Citizenship celebrated the International Day of Peace on September 19 with a special event in the CPGC Café in Stokes Hall. Throughout the day, a rotating cast of the CPGC’s 2014 summer interns set up laptop and iPad displays to present their experiences to the campus community. (Also part of the celebration: free coffee all day and a buffet lunch.) This year, the Center supported 54 Haverford students and 10 Bryn Mawr students in summer internships with organizations in seven U.S. states and 19 countries around the world.
