Commencement 2014 In Photos

On Sunday, May 18, Haverford’s Class of 2014 celebrated Commencement, becoming the latest group of alumni in the College’s 181-year history. With a beautiful sunny day, dotted with clouds and cool breezes, the Commencement ceremony was held on Roberts Hall Green and featured a slew of speakers, including student speaker Oscar Wang ’14, three honorary degree recipients, professors, Dean Steve Watter, Bryn Mawr College President Kimberly Wright Cassidy, and, presiding over his first Haverford Commencement, President Dan Weiss.

A total of 306 Fords received their degrees at the College’s 176th Commencement. Additionally, the College awarded honorary degrees to poet Elizabeth Alexander, Environmental Defense Fund President Fred Krupp, and former president of Princeton University and the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation William Bowen.
