The weather was challenging, but even the rain, which was heavy at times, couldn’t dampen the spirits on campus as we welcomed the newest members of the community, the Class of 2017, to Haverford on Wednesday. Amidst a flurry of umbrellas and Customs people wearing trash bags over their colorful Nintendo-themed t-shirts, students and parents helped the first-years move into their new homes here: Gummere, Tritton, HCA and Barclay.
While Move-In Day is just the beginning of Customs, the almost-week-long program that introduces all first-year students to life here at Haverford, it was certainly a busy one as these photos show.
Welcome to campus, Class of 2017! We’ve been waiting for you.
